Football Festival
Ten Year 3 pupils were invited to take part in a very special event - the Premier League Primary Stars Mixed Football Festival, at North Bromsgrove High School. Over 120 children from 12 Worcestershire First and Middle Schools attended and took part in a variety of activities, including playing matches and rotating around a carousel of football-themed stations.
A big thank you to parents who helped out with transport to and from North, and a huge thank you to the team of people who organised such a great morning, encouraging children who had never played football before and those who are already involved in the sport. A big shout-out to the Barclay's Game Changer Leaders from North Bromsgrove High School, who were referees for each activity, to members of the Premier League Football Association who were so supportive of every child and to Tracey Freer, the School Games Organiser, for making this happen. The icing on the cake was to have the real Mens Premier League Cup Final Trophy on display, currently held by this year's winners, Manchester City. Who knows, one of our talented children may hold that aloft in years to come!!!!
